Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lead Cactus LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the EasyHomeGuides brand at heloc.easyhomeguides.com, cashout.easyhomeguides.com and purchase.easyhomeguides.com (the “Website”), collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal information you provide when you request home equity information through our forms.
Please read the section titled “How we share and sell your information” carefully. Our core business is connecting consumers with lenders and other partners. When you submit our form, we transfer the information you provide to those partners so they may contact you.
We are not a lender. We do not make credit decisions, do not issue loans, and cannot guarantee that any lender will approve you or offer any particular rate or term.
Information you provide to us
Our home equity form asks you for information including:
- Your name, email address, telephone number, and date of birth;
- Your street address, city, state, ZIP code, and how long you have lived there;
- Your estimated home value, outstanding mortgage balance or balances, and how much cash you are seeking;
- Your property type and how you use the property;
- Your annual household income and employment status;
- Your self-assessed credit rating, any late mortgage payments, and any bankruptcy or foreclosure in recent years;
- Whether you or your household includes a service member or veteran;
- What you intend to use the funds for.
We do not collect or store payment card or bank account credentials on this Website.
Social Security number
On some versions of our form we ask for your Social Security number. Where we ask for it, providing it is optional — you may leave the field blank and still submit your request. We ask because lenders use it to verify your identity and to return more accurate offers; without it, a lender may be unable to match you to your credit profile and may not be able to respond.
If you choose to provide it, we transmit it over an encrypted connection and pass it to the lending partners described in this Policy for that purpose. The field is masked as you type, the number is excluded from our operational logs, and it is not stored in your browser. We do not use it for any purpose other than identity verification and matching by those partners.
Information we collect automatically
- Your IP address, internet service provider, referring page, browser type and settings, device type, and language preferences;
- A record of your activity, or “clickstream”, while using the Website;
- Information collected through cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies, including those operated by advertising and analytics providers, which help us measure advertising effectiveness.
Consent certification and session recording
To document that you gave consent, we use third-party consent-certification services, including ActiveProspect TrustedForm. These services create a record of your visit — which may include a replay of your interaction with the form and the consent language displayed to you — and issue a certificate that we may share with the partners who receive your information. This record exists to evidence your consent and to help resolve disputes about it.
How we share and sell your information
When you submit the form, you authorise us to transfer the information you provided to our marketing partners, which include mortgage and home equity lenders, lead marketplaces, and other service providers, so that they may contact you about home equity products and related offers. The partners we may share with are described on our Marketing Partners page.
This transfer is made in exchange for compensation. Under California law and the laws of certain other states, it therefore constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You have the right to opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Once your information has been transferred to a partner, that partner’s own privacy policy governs its use of your information. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how partners use information they receive. Requesting deletion from us does not delete your information from a partner who has already received it; you must contact that partner directly.
We may also disclose information to service providers who operate the Website on our behalf, and where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
Telephone, text message, and email contact
By submitting the form you provide your express written consent for EasyHomeGuides and its marketing partners to contact you at the telephone number you supplied — including a mobile number — using automated telephone dialling systems, artificial or pre-recorded voice messages, AI-generated voice and text, and SMS or MMS messages. This consent applies even if your number is listed on a federal or state Do Not Call registry.
Your consent is not a condition of obtaining any product or service. You may decline and contact lenders directly instead. Message and data rates may apply. To stop text messages, reply STOP to the message. To revoke consent generally, email us at team@drivemp.com; note that partners who already received your information must be contacted directly to stop their outreach.
Credit information
By submitting the form you also authorise EasyHomeGuides and its partners, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, to obtain information from your personal credit profile in order to prequalify you for credit options and to connect you with an appropriate partner. A prequalification enquiry of this kind is generally a soft enquiry that does not affect your credit score, but the enquiry is performed by the lender or its service provider under their own policies, and the effect on your credit file is determined by them and by the credit bureau.
Retention of information
We retain the information you submit, and the associated consent record, for as long as necessary to operate our business, evidence consent, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations.
Information security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Website is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to submit our form. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Do Not Track signals
Our Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because no common standard for interpreting them has been adopted.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of the sale or sharing of that information. California residents have additional rights described in our CCPA notice. To make a request, email team@drivemp.com.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use the Website after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
